What grows in the garden….
Poppy Seed Heads
One of nature’s fascinating shapes, instantly recognisable. Lovely in all sort of colours. The large ones are ~15-20cm and they come with a bespoke metal rod for secure anchoring into the ground. The mini-poppy seed heads are happy on a bamboo-stick, they are about 7 cm in height
Rosehips, new this year and they seem to be very popular! Love making them and there will be more next year
Rose-buds, brand new; they haven’t had much of an outing yet
Poppy Flowers, so evocative!
Another lovely shape: the Thistle or Cardoon (same family), combining texture and colour
Seedpods, not based on anything I have seen in nature, beautiful nevertheless!
